Three things worth knowing before you preorder
This is not a game edition
The $399.99 price is for the collectible merchandise box. You still need to buy GTA VI separately for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
It launches the same day as GTA VI
Rockstar lists November 19, 2026 for the collection, matching the game’s current release date.
Availability is limited
Rockstar says the collection is available for preorder while supplies last. That makes the official Rockstar Store the source to check for current availability.
Confirmed vs. easy-to-misread
Confirmed
- $399.99 U.S. price on the Rockstar Store.
- Preorders are open as of September 24.
- November 19 arrival date.
- The box includes 11 listed collectible items.
- The GTA VI game is sold separately.
Do not assume
- Do not treat this as a GTA VI Collector’s Edition of the game itself.
- Do not assume the collection includes a console, game code or disc.
- Do not assume global preorder availability is identical; Rockstar says details for parts of Asia, Latin America and Australia are still to come.
Who is this actually for?
If you were already planning to buy GTA VI and mainly care about playing on launch day, this box does not replace the cost of the game or console. It makes more sense as a premium merchandise purchase for collectors who specifically want the Oakley sunglasses, New Era hat, Macca figure and other physical items.
